Within the park, you can appreciate the ethnic buildings, watch and
be part of the village shows, join in making handicrafts, and taste different ethnic food.
In the evening, the Central Theater presents a grand song and dance performance. After
that comes China Folk Culture Carnival Parade that is described as "One of a kind in
world, and probably should be included in the Guinness Book of World Record". In
addition, different ethnic festivals are held periodically in the park.
Many China's landmarks were re-produced in reduced size in the park. For example,
there are the Stone Forest in Yunnan, the Hainan Coconut Tree Forest, the Ancient Nanbin
Banyan, the 1,000 Eye/1,000 Hand Buddha Statue and the Memorial Stone Archways in Huizhou.
There is even a laser musical fountain.
The whole park sits on a gently rolling terrain that features lakes, rivers and
waterfalls. You can walk, or use a vehicle or a boat to hop from village to village.
It is an experience you can never acquire except at China Folk Culture Villages. |
