Quanzhou, famous as the home of overseas Chinese, is an old seaside cultural city.
  In the Sui and Tang Dynasties (581--907), it was run as a foreign trade port. Major scenic spots and historical sites include the Kaiyuan Temple, East and West Pagodas, Mosque, Qingyuan Mountain, Luoyang Bridge, tomb of General Zheng Chenggong and Nine Immortal Hill. Tourists descend from all over the world and are warmly received by the Overseas Chinese Mansion.

  Lacquerwork, brocade, sculptures, bamboo articles and rattan objects are among the famous traditional products at the choice of tourists coming to Xiamen and Quanzhou.
